Who we are
The Port of Ensenada is a seaport located in the state of Baja California; its main objective is to promote the economic development of the region through trade and maritime transportation, by means of efficient and safe administration and operation, building infrastructure and generating world-class services, thus contributing to social development.
Likewise, it is governed by the Port Development Master Program, which is valid for 5 years and is exclusive to each port; this time there is a fourth master program that covers the period from 2018 to 2023. On the other hand, ASIPONA pays an annual fee to the Federal Government for the use, exploitation and exploitation of the Port Precinct and its surrounding polygonal area. The legal framework on which the operations and activities of the Port Administration are based are the Ports Law, the Navigation Law, the Operating Rules and the different legal provisions that apply to its activity.
