Tourist Boats

Services for tourist vessels, especially cruise ships, are provided by Ensenada Cruiseport Village, the cruise terminal concessionaire, which offers excellent services and infrastructure for receiving such vessels.

Commercial or Cargo Vessels

Services to vessels in deep sea and coastal traffic are provided at the docks of the multipurpose terminal, specialized in handling containerized cargo, operated by Ensenada International Terminal, S.A. de C.V., and at the public docks of the federation in charge of ASIPONA Ensenada and operated by the company Estibadores de Ensenada, S.A. de C.V.

These docks are authorized to carry out foreign trade and cabotage operations, both facilities have all the services and infrastructure for the proper handling of cargo.

Port Service

Charge to the user per vessel that enters or makes use of the Port Precinct, including navigation channel and maritime signaling, such charge is integrated by the following concepts:

Fixed port:

Fixed arrival fee for fishing vessels over 15 meters in length according to current authorized tariffs

Variable port:

Fee applicable per arrival to the Gross Registered Tonnage of the Vessel (GRT).

Docking service:

Charge to the user per day or fraction thereof and for each meter of total length or fraction thereof of the vessels that remain docked, moored, moored or anchored directly or indirectly at the public docks administered by this entity.

Port and mooring services included in monthly fees for fishing vessels:

Monthly charge applicable to the vessels specified below, including the port and docking services described above. The charge is determined for each meter of length or fraction thereof of the fishing vessels (except tuna vessels and marine ranches) that use public docks for more than 1 hour during the calendar month regardless of the number of arrivals and the number of days they remain docked, moored, moored, towed or docked, directly or indirectly to the dock at the cut-off date of the monthly fee.

Classification of fishing vessels according to authorized rates

Tuna fishing vessels

These are those specifically dedicated to the capture of tuna or similar species, basing the criteria for their classification on the equipment the vessel has as well as on the fishing permits in force.

Marine ranches and smaller vessels (15 meters)

These are fishing vessels that provide services to marine ranches.

Monthly fishing vessels

In general, all fishing vessels smaller than 500 GRT that are not tuna vessels and do not work for marine ranches (sardine, shrimp, shrimp, etc.).

In the event that the vessel uses both ports in the monthly invoiced period, the rate in force for the port of Ensenada applies
