Connectivity
Within its regional infrastructure, Baja California has a wide connectivity to reach different regional and international markets, providing the following services:
- International Airport in the cities of Tijuana and Mexicali.
- Deep-sea and coastal port in the city of Ensenada, with maritime routes to and from the main ports of Asia, North, Central and South America.
- Federal Highways No. 1, 2 and 3, which connect the port of Ensenada with the cities of Tijuana, Tecate and Mexicali, having the option to reach the South of the Peninsula and the states of Sonora, Chihuahua and Sinaloa, as well as Southern California and the Southwest of the United States.
- Railroad network in the cities of Tecate and Mexicali, in addition to a short railroad that connects the cities of Tijuana and Tecate. With the potential to connect to the U.S. railroad system.
- Three of the main border crossings with the United States are located in the cities of Tijuana, Tecate and Mexicali, 111 km, 108 km and 246 km north of the port of Ensenada, respectively.
